FAQ
Q: Does this leather sleeve come in other colors?
A: Yes, we have yellow, green and black. You can choose according to your requirements. We usually have red in stock for faster delivery.
Q: Can the diesel gun be used to dispense lubricating oil?
A: No. Diesel guns are designed for low pressure. Lubricating oil has high viscosity and requires high pressure, which could cause the diesel gun to burst.
Q: How does the auto cut-off mechanism work?
A: It uses a purely mechanical system monitoring air pressure. As fuel rushes past, a tiny hole at the tip draws air to keep the valve open. No electronics are required.
Q: What is the Venturi Effect in the fuel nozzle?
A: The rapid flow of fuel creates a vacuum within an internal passage called a Venturi tube. This force is balanced by air rushing in from the sensing hole at the tip.
Q: What triggers the automatic shut-off?
A: When rising fuel covers the sensing hole, air cannot enter. The vacuum becomes stronger, pulling an internal diaphragm that trips the latch and snaps the valve shut.
Q: Why does the pump sometimes "click" off before the tank is full?
A: The mechanism is highly sensitive to pressure drops. Foam built up during refueling can cover the sensing hole, causing the mechanical trigger to shut off early.
