FAQ
Does this leather sleeve come in other colors?
Yes, we have yellow, green and black. You can choose according to your requirements. We usually have red in stock. Fuel guns with red leather sleep can be made delivery faster.
Can the diesel gun be used to dispense lubricating oil?
No. The Diesel guns are designed for dispensing diesel at low pressure and cannot be used to dispense lubricating oil. Lubricating oil has viscosity and requires high pressure. Using a diesel gun could easily cause the gun to burst for dispensing lubricating oil.
How does an auto cut-off gun work?
An auto cut-off gun uses a mechanical system to prevent spills by monitoring air pressure at the tip. When fuel covers the tip, a change in air pressure triggers an internal lever to snap the valve shut. This is a purely mechanical process requiring no electronics.
What is the Venturi Effect in the nozzle?
The rapid flow of fuel creates a vacuum within a narrowed internal passage called a Venturi tube. This vacuum is balanced by air drawn from a tiny hole at the tip. When that hole is blocked by rising fuel, the vacuum becomes stronger, pulling a diaphragm to shut off the flow.
Is the shut-off mechanism reliable?
Yes, the main fuel valve snaps shut in a fraction of a second once the vacuum trigger is tripped. Because it is completely mechanical, it does not rely on batteries or external power sources.
Why does the pump sometimes "click" off early?
Because the mechanism is highly sensitive to the pressure drop, it can be triggered by the foam that builds up while fueling, sometimes causing the pump to "click" off before the tank is completely full.
